Telugu actor Nagarjuna, who recently released a the digital poster of Bhai, has now unleashed the first look of his much-hyped movie Manam, which features his father Akkineni Nageswara Rao and his son Naga Chaitanya with him in leads. This digital poster is coming as a gift to his dad ANR on his 90th birthday, which happens to be September 20. In a statement released to media, Nagarjuna says, "On the occasion of 90th birthday of my father, we are releasing the first look poster of the movie Manam.
Sources close to the makers have revealed that ‘Manam’ is loosely based on the English film ‘Back to the Future’. It is being said that Nagarjuna plays Naga Chaitanya’s son and Nageswar Rao as son of Nagarjuna! It would be really interesting to see how these actors pull off these role reversals on screen.
Ishq fame Vikram K Kumar is directing the film Manam, which has already completed the first schedule of its shooting. The director says, "It is my luck to direct the three generation heroes in Manam." He added, "It is a romantic comedy and like its first look poster, it is definitely a different film." Samantha and Shriya Saran are playing the female leads, while Ali, Tanikella Bharani, Brahmanandam, MS Narayana, Jayaprakash Reddy, Posani Krishna Murali, Nagineedu, Saranya, Kasi Viswanath, Ravi Babu, Vennela Kishore, Melkote appear in the supporting cast in Manam. Anoop Rubens is composing the tunes, while PS Vinod handles the camera work for the film.

Buzz is that Nagarjuna goes back from the future to help himself and his father. Some even say that the film is inspired by the popular children’s cartoon ‘Doremon’, in which the grandchild sends back his pet robot to help his father and himself.
